SAT/ACT Exam Prep
"Why should I prepare for the ACT or SAT?"
Taking standardized tests is often part of the college application process. Success on a test can make the difference between being accepted to the college of your choice and not being accepted. It can also make a difference in scholarship awards at some colleges. Ed.U works with each student to identify his or her areas of concern and create a customized study plan. Study plans include a proctored test and guided practice. If you are a junior or senior in high school, we encourage you to plan ahead and schedule one of these exams.
"How do I choose the best college for me?"
This is a very common question for high school students. We believe that a student's success in college is based on thorough planning prior to selecting a school. Ed.U offers a comprehensive step-by-step process to prepare for this life-changing experience. We can help your family navigate financial aid, scholarships, college tours, applications, SAT/ACT, and final college choice.

An increasing number of universities are dropping the SAT and ACT requirement for fall 2021 admissions in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
With high schools across the nation shut down or in limited operation, ACT Inc. and the College Board, the companies behind the ACT and SAT, canceled administrations of the exams until June, prompting a record number of colleges and universities to suspend the standardized test requirement or make it optional.

Ed.U has provided tutoring for my daughter for a little over six months. In that time, not only has her math and reading greatly improved but her self confidence as well. Brian, Katrina and her tutor, go above and beyond to provide a fun and welcoming learning environment. They really do care about the long-term success of their students and I can't recommend them enough.
Brian and Katrina are passionate about helping students of all ages reach their potential! My son works with them regularly to support his academic goals and he really likes working with both of them. We will also be utilizing their ACT/SAT preparation service in the near future. We are so lucky to have this high-quality service in Geneseo, IL!
Katrina and Nate are amazing teachers, mentors and counselors. My son has used their services for ACT testing and they are always available, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. We will continue using their services for my next son. My son used another tutoring place before, but found the individual attention that Ed.U provided him superior. I would highly recommend Ed.U for all of their tutoring and college planning services. Additionally, we live in New Jersey and Katrina, Nate and Brian were able to virtually meet with my son to tutor him, all of the scheduling was very flexible and they really went above and beyond to meet our needs. We are very lucky to have found them!
